ABOUT ME
I'm interested in using different mediums to visualize and communicate a complex process or feeling. My analytical, visual brain likes to understand and show the connections that make things work.
In general, my work is inspired by the landscape and ecology of Northern Patagonia, where I've lived since 2021, or the more internal and intangible landscapes of my emotions or the things I've learned coming of age in as an immigrant from the United States to Argentina.
Most of my work is fairly intuitive - I collage almost exclusively with materials that I find or am gifted. I love the way the medium itself can surprise me, and that while I'm limited to the materials I happen to have, the possibilities are always infinite.
After graduating from university, I migrated south from California to Buenos Aires in 2015, and from Buenos Aires to Bariloche in 2021. Besides making art, I read a lot Historical Fiction, explore the mountains and the forest, and have long conversations with my dog.
